A secure and flexible operating framework
Your assets are placed with TD Waterhouse in an account in your name - and there are no securities safekeeping charges. Your accounts are guaranteed by the Canadian Investor Protection Fund for up to $1 million.
The management of your accounts is handled by Globevest Capital, but the securities are held by each client in their accounts with the TD Waterhouse Institutional Service discount brokerage firm. TD Waterhouse sends a statement to clients every month with a detailed description of their portfolio and monthly transactions.
You can therefore monitor your
asset distribution, risk level, fees and returns. Please note that we
also offer free periodic withdrawals on various accounts (LIF,
Registered Retirement Savings Fund, etc.) as well as automatic RRSP
payments or contributions. A simple phone call is all that is required
to withdraw money on a timely basis.
